The Danger of Keeping Bad Company at School

It is very true of the saying that birds of the same feather flocks around. I write to analyse some of the dangers of keeping bad company at school. It is obvious that people keeps different company of which they have never taking their time to way-in and way-out the kind of company they sometimes keep.

 

 Bad companies are set of people in our society that may not contribute to the growth nor have a set goal for development and creativity, and when such company are kept it will rather terminate and pollute the image of an individual or the society at large. A bad company only look forward for what they want immediately. But have no goals for their future. When a man or a woman keeps company in school, political system or in any other society at large he or she has already signed the initiative of his or her doom. A man cannot say he wants to be motivated and still yet wine and dine with bad company. 

A boy that does well at home in terms of good morals and well punctual in accademic will not keep such quality when he engages himself with bd companies. A boy who is brillant was sent to school because of his exceptional performance and career attitude, in his primary education after five years of his studies he proceeded to secondary education and was chosen as the head prefect of the high school. He proved himself as the best amongst his colleagues by winning several competition awards for his school. As a brillant student his principal decided that the school will sponsor him to the university level of which earned him scholarship. He passed his WAEC (West African Examination Council) examination and during his high school graduation party, he was caught at the corner of the school with some boys smoking indian hemp and some other hard drugs. When he was interrogated by the police what happened to him after hearing the good testimony of his brillancy by the school authority, he replied "the boys said to me, if i must grow sharper, stronger and fealess when i get to the university i must continuosly take indian hemp and other drugs". And because i want to be more smarter and stonger in school, i decided to take it with them. That was how his scholarship was terminated immediately because he listened to those that were not as smart as he is in school. We must be careful not to be influenced by others that will not contribute to our destiny. If a king or a resident keeps bad carbinets and bad company , the government of that company has stamped the downfall and economic crisis of that particular country. Therefore we should not by any ways keep bad company in school because it comes with a prize. The danger of keeping bad compay at school is at a students own detriment, therefore watchout for those you make your friends in life.
